no, we were using the one from his old (bought in '98) computer, but then purchased a new one. I can't remember which boards we tried which PSU on. But the purchased one worked fine till yesterday.

Found out later that one board had the DIMM slots labeled backwards, so that's probably why it wasn't posting.
