If you download the .iso CD images and burn them, you'll get GUI's and tons of other software. The downloads don't include 3rd party commercial software like StarOffice or WordPerfect, but you can download StarOffice for free.

The Mandrake version I used had both KDE and Gnome GUI's. Last I heard the Gnome team stopped development and I don't know if anybody has picked it up.
