I had a 1mbit ADSL connect before when I was in Canada for a while. It was better than this cable is for gaming, but the cable blows it away as far as downloading goes. The most the ADSL would ever hit was 120K, this cable has hit 350K before. I get good pings (50-70ms) with comcast, but I got 20-40ms pings with Sympatico ADSL. But over all so far I like the cable better. Had ISDN at one time too and it was a good connection at the time, for Q2 servers close to home (70-80ms) but it was expensive.
