Disconnect every thing from the motherboard except the video card, the CPU, the CPU fan, the Power supply and the memory. Also make sure the monitor is connected. Power it up and see what happens. I've found that some motherboards are very picking about the IDE cable, if it is hooked up backwards the motherboard acts dead. Also some motherboards won't bootup if the CPU fan isn't connected to the right fan header so check that out too.

If you get the board to come alive them hook the other stuff up one at a time.
