well we used it on a different mobo back around thanksgiving and it worked then but we could not make windows install without registry problems. Tried countless cdrom drives, fiddled with it, sent it back but they wouldn't take back the cpu.
So we got another mobo, ram, and put it in a case with some stuff. So unless the cpu died between coming out of the last system and being put into this one, I have no idea.
I certainly hope I didn't kill it when I put the fan on it, I don't think it would have...
