Wow, some of those horrible memories are coming back to me. Not counting the ones at work I would say two bought counting my Commodore64, and probably ~15 Systems I built.

A Cyrix166+ that I put together with help from bro, which would later teach me my first lesson of patience with computers. I fried the Keyboard port while installing a new card. By removing the expansion slot while power was On, and accidently dropping the Blanking bracket directly on the header. Soldered a new fuse in and back to working order, but other anomalies soon appeared.
Next was the awful AMD 233 Upgrade from the internet (Lesson in crappy dealers screwing people over and their 30 Day Warranty on crappy parts).
And because of all that trouble with the 233 Upgrade, Next was a full computer purchase from a local dealer AMD K6/2 350 with lot's of upgrades over time. It's still working somewhere. After that, I basically starting building for friends and family. I have built approximately 25 computers up to this point. And got about 5 more in the works at the moment. (1) 1Ghz T-Bird and (4) 1.2Ghz T-Birds.
