If the ASUS monitor tells the truth, the CPU locks up at 64 centigrades. That's what I got, regardless of cooler or what not. Other boards report lower temps than the ASUS A7V266-E to start out with but I recall that with the MP on the Tyan board, the lock up occurred also at lower temps, that is, around 55 centigrades
