well, if you weren't specifically after the RAID option, the Shuttle AK31 Rev.3 is a quality board based on the faster VIA KT266A chipset (KG7 uses AMD 761). Best of all, it starts at $85 1 AGP, 6 PCI, 4 DDR-DIMM slots and a fairly nice spacing around the CPU socket.

IMO if you are still debating what to get, you would benefit most from glancing down the "recent articles" list on the front page of LostCircuits.

Or, if you prefer to be more thorough, enter LC's "mainboard" archive (click the link on the middle-left of the front page) and look at any recent articles for ECS, EPoX, Iwill, MSI, and Spacewalker/Shuttle. Usually the second (sometimes third) page of any LC mainboard review offers a picture and description of the specs.
