and it asks for permission every time now, I tend to avoid pages where I get asked a lot

I find my CPU thread usage is a lot cleaner now as before I was having to use adaware every day because these blasted presumptious marketing pages abuse the cookie system and my hospitality and use my CPU to run their advert software.

This was not what cookies were invented for!

There must be a way to regulate these people who are overstepping the mark, what they are doing is the commercial equivalent of planting a virus and is an intrusion, an invasion of privacy and an abuse of trust.

They are using my computer as though it was half theirs, but in this medium the reciever/terminal is all mine and I will not sanction it running their software. There is a big difference between a cookie containing a minimal amount of information on a HDD and an ad process thread taking up CPU cycles continuously and it is time that was recognised in law so these people can be sued.
