Sygate vs ZoneAlarm

I finally got around to loading sygate so I could share my dsl connection with my wife's computer downstairs. I'm using the 10mps phoneline networking cards, wife's has pci card, I have the usb version on my pc. I've been using ZoneAlarm as my firewall but I noticed Sygate had a firewall when I installed it. Wondering how sygate compares to Zonealarm since I've been using it because it was highly recommended. May have to go with Sygate no matter what since so far I haven't been able to share my internet connection without shutting down zonealarm.

By the way, the phoneline networking is great. I was impressed with how fast the internet was on my wife's pc. Also tested copying a 4meg file from my pc to her's and it took about 10 seconds. Not as fast as my 100mps network in my previous house but fast enough for the few things I will use it for like internet access and printer sharing.
