I talked my boss into buying the ECS board and an Athlon 1.4 (he was going to go the P4 route). He got the Promise FastTrack 100 RAID controller, but the machine won't boot with any drives connected to the FT100. He bought 2 IBM 60GXP 60gb drives, and I don't know of any compatibility issues with these drives and the FT100. The board boots fine with the FT100 installed, but no drives connected, and the 2 drives connected to the onboard IDE. He said the FT bios is v.2, and they are up to v.6. Does it just need a flash to fix this? Anyone have any suggestions?
