Subject: Need help uninstalling IE5.5!!!

Actually my problem is twofold, first of all my
power went off in the middle of installing ie5.5
and although it installed "fine" there is not way
to get rid of this thing now. Whenever I tried to
install it again, or install an older
version/newer version it prompts me that the
previous installation was not completed - restart
your computer! I do that and its back to square
one, nothing!
The other problem is that since recently I haven't
been able to connect to the net using the ie5.5.
(Netscape works just fine) Whenever I want to
connect, the browser connects to 127.00.2 and
gives me a DNS error. This might be just a simple
thing, but please, I need some enlightement!
