Logitech is the better customer care company.

I own both a MS Sidewinder Pro (non force-feedback) and a Logitech Wingman Force 3D.

The MS non-feedback is better built, but MS's feedback sticks suck. Also, Microshaft will gladly screw you. They still owe me a $20 rebate from 2 years ago. Hello!

Strange thing though. My Logitech stick developed a strange tick just last week. Although it is digital, the rudder (twist grip) was now favoring the left all of the time... even after recalibration). I called Logitech last Monday, and gave them my serial number.

Because it is less than a year old, the promptly sent me a brand new stick. I didn't even have to send them my old stick. It arrived Friday afternoon. I now have 2, so I'll just use the old Logitech Force 3D on rudderless games on the backup computer. BONUS!

My 1st MS stick died too within a year. However, MS was far less professional. True story: About a year ago, I called MS about my dying Sidewinder and they said that the simplest thing for me to do was go to BestBuy (where I had originally bought it almost a year earlier), and pick out a new stick. I was then supposed to tell Best Buy to switch sticks with me.

Yeh, right. They don't even want to take things back after 30 days, let alone a whole year.

Well, I'll be damned. BestBuy did it. They just RMA'd the old broken stick back in the new stick's box. I guess BestBuy figured that MS is so good at screwing people that they won't mind getting shafted back.

Either way, I got a new stick. But, MS would have looked far more professional though if they had just mailed me a new stick.

Get the Logitech Wingman Force 3D. It kicks the MS ForceFeedback sticks all to hell.
