They lie to us and say it's not available.
A buddy of mine, a real good talker, worked his way into a sweet $20 US / month deal for cable access. 8M/sec! Best part, he was only house in his section, so he had ALL the bandwidth to himself! Part of an early test in this area.
Then, one day, somebody decided they weren't getting enough of the pie and sued AT&T over something, so they yanked the service out!
Showed up at his house with tools and a check to pay off his contract!
