Off Topic...Cheap 5.1channel sound card...

I know of the Platinum Series from CB but thats a heafty $200+ and then you have to add some sort of recommended complementart external stuff to get the full 6 channel from the PC.

I just want a sound card with 6x3.5mm mono out sockets or 4=2xfrontLR+2xrearLR+sub+center....are they any such animals for a good price...not worried about quality at this stage, just functionality.

I hope to hook up 2 and half pairs of $25 speakers to the mains and maybe buy a $50-100 sub for the lows...as I said Im not worried about the quality - just the function.

At the moment I am burning my 5.1_AC3 to miniDVD on CDRW and playing them on my SetopBox, but that's fiddly, I want to preview the AC3's on my PC first. (I'm turning my mp3/wav's into 5.1_AC3's with some filtering and reverb..sound great on the setop box with slide show!!
