And here it is... For my next computer I want to go all out nutty for performance, and intend to indulge in a RAID array IDE of course, I'm not rich. Anyhow My question is: are there any motherboards that support quadruple striped drive (4X RAID)) I saw in the nex Maximum PC a computer with 3 deskstars, and assume that 4 is possible, but that computer used 3 along with a PCI RAID card. Adaptec I believe, but I'd rather not fill a PCI slot if I can avoid it. Thanks all
