My computer and AMD 2

As I understand it I have a 256 megabyte hard disk and 32 gigabytes of ram but I have already said that I don’t know much about computer hardware so if you think I am wrong then I probably am. All I know is I have Windows ME on my computer right now so maybe you can work out from that if I know my hardware correctly I hope so. I know about hardware drivers and I have drivers for my graphics card and sound card and all that stuff but someone told me I need programs from AMD for Windows 2000 to work. I dont know if they mean drivers or if it is a program so please tell me what it is and where I can get it and how do I install it! Does anyone want any more information about my computer because I can give you all the information I know about it if you need it.
