It has been two years and my masking tape jobs are still hammering along.

Carefully cut strips and apply after a careful cleaning of the contacts with alcohol, then the CPU is inserted once very carefully, any subsequent removal can move the tape and necessitate another retape. I found it to be fairly easy. Make sure to get high quality tape, it is thicker and offers much more protection.

The nail polish I had problems with, it always seemed to 'pop' off when inserted into the CPU slot.

Only for the brave, the 333 has an outside chance @500 with good cooling, so covering the b21 will get the 100FSB, then you have to cover some others to get a higher vre.

It actually might be cheaper in the long run for you to get another MB with softmenu (ABIT, ASUS, MSI) choices to make clocking MUCH easier, the plus is you still have avenues to upgrade by just getting another CPU.
