I just did the same last night for PIII 800E Mhz. It defaulted to 533Mhz, even after manually changing soft settings back to 100FSB x8. The second setting has now caused my system to not be able to boot up at all. The video won't even work to get back into 'setup'.

I am going to attempt to reset the CMOS via motherboard jumper settings today. Is this the correct next step, or does anyone have different recommendations for me?
