I have a 550 on a epox board,, runs between 100-104 F,,
when o/c to 600 (which is all the mobo will support) goes to
112-114F,, I have o/c'ed a 333 and 450 and they did'nt
get as warm as your 500 has..
look into improving your heatsink (do'nt rely on a little stock h/s)
