I dont know about the program not reporting correctly, ASFAIK it just reads the chip and shows you what the manufactorer has rated your ram...

I'm not sure if it's 7.5nans ram or not, i'll have to ask him...

If it isnt but still works fine, should he keep it but ask for the price diff since technically it's not CAS 2 ram?
