I am trying to upgrade my GA-K8NF-9 Mother board Prosessor from a AMD64 3500+ 200Mhz running at 2.21mhz with 4MB of 400Mb mem, to the highest cpu that will fit in this board, as it is a 939 pin board I am getting differen results from differant people. AMD themselves have been very helpful (it,s they have refered me to you)but my Question is still not answered.
Could you please tell me which cpu is best, (highs,t) and which is second best to fit.
Please note that TONY
has the wrong M/B.
I believe I can choose from the 64x2 4800+ (E6 T0ledo) or the 64x2 4600 (Manchester). Of corse finding them is another problem.
I aim to renew but cannot aford it at the moment so I will leave this till later on in the year, New I mean.
