no bang, no smoke....i was bleeding the air out of the water setup like i always do after changing out the CPU waterblock for a new one, then the next reboot, nada...
no noise, nothing, usually you hear the system beep, nothing....funny, but the Sata was recognised, but the IDE was dead, it was like half the MB was fubar...
anyway, immediately i suspected the CPU and threw the other one in, bang, bootage right away, then slamed the original back in to recheck/double/triple check, just in case of some weird electronics stuffs, nada.......
retail BE, three year warranty, obviously, i can RMA with the three year warranty, maybe wait a bit until the 940's are all gone, then AMD might offer a newer issue (945/955/965 AM2+/AM3)...
one can hope...
are you still working for OCZ???? or???
