Amps and their power supplies are usually designed within tight limits.Depending on the "device"[caps in this case]you can use a <10% variation.
10.000 uf is over twice that,so i'd say no.When it comes to these, make sure you have at least the same voltage rating or higher and they are connected around the right way.Large caps connected wrongly can explode dangerously.[I'm presuming they are large can type caps rated around 75-80 volts.]
Ludi probably knows more about this than I do.
The "6552", is there a prefix? eg. LM,OA ,RJ ?
Does it look like it's in the pre amp section?
If it is , there are many replacement op amps.
If it's an AN6552, there are many replacements.
An LM 833n would be compatible and should be cheap and available.

Adding more transistors; I would say no.In theory you could but it would need more power ,which means rebuilding your power supply. As for running it all mono. It's what is called "Bridged" output.
Once again.in theory yes,but on that Amp, I don't know. Here's a link to an article about it.

OR do you mean adding more to each channel and boosting each channel.Once again yes/no, depending on the power supply .Is there a part number on your "Mosfets"?It would be easier if I knew what they were.
This is a site Ludi recommended in the previous post you made.this is the home link again.

There's lots of info there, including links to other sites of similar subject matter.
from the home page ,go to the Main Index and then the Site Map.This lists everything there from A to Z.Much is there about amp design, power supplies etc.
I've included my Email in this post,If you want to talk to me directly.
Cheers!
