Stuck with old BIOS 2006, a hacked version, no longer supported much.
I still only have a optron 175 CPU & upgraded to 4 Gigs of Ram not seen yet, more for windows 7. Yes I am only using HE XP 32 bit.
Heres what I found out I tried out two different ATI 4870 video cards ASUS & Diamond & they both froze up just before the (found new hardware screen). I then switched to a Nvidia PNY GTX 275 with 896 MB. This video card has worked with no problems at all, well for 5 days now anyways.
I know that the MB only has PCI E 1.0 & that the video cards were PCI E 2.0 I didnt care about the bottle neck & figured it was a last chance to upgrade my computer. Ya living on a tighter budget now as both me & the miss's are retired.
Besides the fact that I can not stop playing the pay monthly version of the game world of warcraft.
Bob
