I tired malwarebytes and another program. this seemed to clear things up. something did wipe out passwords saved on some programs. also, AVG will not run, wants reinstall. reinstall fails thinking it is a 2000 SP4 machine, not a XP machine. I guess it is safe enough to put back on line and grab another shareware AV. thanks all
any malware users, does it wipe out passwords and all?? I would like to try it on my machines.
