Good thought,unfortunately no external control,nor on the top face.It has internal speakers and a head phones out, no luck switching the output "mode" to either or desktop speakers.

In the control panel[windurs] there's an inaccessible "Soundmax" directory.Trying to re-install the drivers fails.The directory can't be deleted either.
I figure some entry some where is stopping me,but a registry purge hasn't helped either.
