Years ago I bought keyboards made by a company name "Focus". They had a number of innovative keyboards, my favorite of which was the Focus 8200. It had an LCD readout above the number keypad that allowed the keypad to act as an on board calculator. Pressing a single SEND key sent the results to the cursor on-screen.

It also had a second set of function keys, that were labeled PF1 thru PF12. You could assign character strings to these function keys that would appear on-screen at the cursor when that programmed function key was depressed .For example, I have my email address programmed into the keys so a couple quick key strokes puts my email address on screen. All in all these were great keyboards.

The last time I did a search for Focus I couldn't find anything. Their keyboards occasionally show up on Ebay and when they do I try to get one for backup. I'm currently down to my last fully operating Focus 8200 keyboard and don't know what I'm going to do when it finally dies.

Does anyone know of a currently manufactured keyboard with a calculator and/or programmable set of function keys?

Thanks,
BH Davis
