I just keep plugging away....found this while searching why Vista browes slower than my XP install.....
it is a very simple solution if running with a Realtec based NIC...I have been using Realtecs for years.....
Device Manager, right click your NIC after opening network adaptors the properties>driver....
then click on 'roll back driver', it will default back to a 6/21/2006 driver, walla....
back in buzyness.....internet speed is back to snappy crisp....
just another annoyance fixed....
