you're talking about aren't that senior, they are just senile, retarded or whatever, the same people that open bank accounts to receive fonds from Nigeria.
Back to the topic of the bailout.. my questions are:
- why should we all pay for the mistakes of a few who walked away with full pockets anyway?
- why doesn't the government stimulate the economy by rasing extra taxes ..... on those companies that offshore jobs that can be easily done in the US just to save a few pennies? Labor in India is not that much less expensive than in Kentucky or Louisiana. That won't hurt anybody except for the likes of Carly Fiorina who just want to stick short term numbers to their resume and are willing to sacrifice everything in their way "just because".
Ludi is right BTW, the DJ recovered most of what they lost and a bunch of people again got rich at the expense of those that let themselves be intimidated by the harbingers of bad news - that were inflated anyway.
