Who's running Vista 64bit?

Loaded it 2 months ago, then HD went bonkers after a couple of weeks...abandoned for awhile....

recently reloaded, tweaked it ain't bad at all, lots of background stuff needs shutting down, got the SP1 update.....and the new Audigy 64bit drivers have been a dream....

only problem is my printer doesn't work even though the driver is included the Vista 64bit database (WTF???), HP steadfastly refuses to tweak the driver to work properly in Vista directly, works in XP64bit, but not in Vista 64bit......

you can print over a network to the printer hooked to XP32bit with the 64bit driver installed....

now I know my printer is old, but, Jesus, it works and prints just fine, I can even print full size 8" x 10" prints on glossy photo paper with excellent results (printer on super HO)....all I do is put in new cartridges every once and awhile....don't mind it is a bit slow, it still prints with fine detail...

not everyone is going to be running a network or two OS's to facilitate....yes, I could buy a new printer, but I don't need one....

that is my only gripe...

any comments as to your personnal experiences running Vista 64bit would be appreciated...

I would stick with XP64bit (not really XP), but the driver support, although not bad, is a even more of a dead horse, just absolutely no more developement of drivers, except for third party drivers made in the wild....

I want the 64 bit for the 8gig or more ramski, plus with superfetch and a USB pen drive, nothing phases system on hard tasks.....
