from here you should have also gotten a backup HD & made a ghost of the HD with the new system.

This green wire PS test happened to me before & this is what I did I tested this out by risking it all. Do this at your own rick, but it is an option.

I removed (cut) the green wire from the MoBo PS plug & wired the green wire from the PS permantly to a black wire to the PS.
Now this did work for me without ever failing again & I gave the system away later.

The MoBo could have only lost this one circuit & you could be fine, but then again if its bad you may break a PS unit that is not the best to use with new systems. If you really have nothing to lose give this a shot.
