You're correct in the fact that there just isn't that much benefit in using RAID0. I quit RAID0 2 years back in all my Rigs except 1 and haven't missed it at all. The only Rig I have with (RAID10)is because it's for MultiMedia encoding/processing large ass files...Yes the slowest Hardware on Systems belong to the HD but the cost of using RAID can almost be offset by using one SSD Drive....Read Storage Review and AT's article @TL... |
