time to ghost to another drive while it is acting nice, if it happened once, i can flat out guarantee it will happen again.
the only way i have been able to get rid of erratic HD behavior even if it errors with diagnostics is to do a complete zero fill (killdisk comes to mind) several times, then format and then recheck drive with diagnostics....however, once i get it back and if it comes back clean after a second diagnostic, i never use as a boot disk again, just me...
err, short answer, it is prolly your disk going, check it with a diagnostic tool (it will not fuss with your data), if you get any errors, then it is time...
