Will it boot from CD first? No the CD spins up but then it goes to the empty floppy and reports "Invalid system disk" 'cause it's empty obviously.
98SE is only upgrade disk
Boot order Try "1st device CD rom" - as above.

Yes it does boot straight up....yes it does install okay and ask for code....
I'm a dill!....Fancy assuming the last 4 years that I had to install 98 because the XP Corporate disk was assumed to be an upgrade and not a full version....!!dill...dill....dill!....
