I've had this before years ago and cant remember how I got around it.
I've tried numerous boot disks, downloaded a boot disk from www.bootdisk and still no joy.
I've tried a couple of what maybe suspect old CD drives when I first had problems with my DVD burner.
POST shows it up as slave and Hard Disk as master, but boot disk doesnt want to find it.
Tried format c:/s and copied MSCDEX.exe over to c: with the oatlands sys file and get to c: without a boot disk but still cant see my DVD/CD drive....
Could it be that this is the only IDE channel and with the 4 SATA's all vacant?
Help...pppllllssss.....hours!
