HELP!
I'm starting to look into HDTV, and I've never seen a more confusing mess anywhere.
I have regular comcast cable, and as far as I can determine so far I need a tv with NTSC capabilities (for now) and QAM for later when NTSC goes away. I don't want to have to mess with an antenna, so no ATSC.
With a QAM TV, do I need a comcast box for anything? I don't want a box.
What about a VCR? Mine uses NTSC tuner, so it'll be junk as well, right?
I need a good tutorial. Anyone know of an UP TO DATE one? All of them I find are old.
