I presume you mean all the stuff on the bottom bar when it,s [spybot] searching for "malware".That,s all the stuff in it,s database.[what it,s searching for]If it finds any of that,it appears in your search results.Next step is "fix problems".
I,ve had a few machines from customers and this one i,m using, suffering attacks from "hard to remove" trojans.Using different anti virus, anti spyware programs;they either don,t find the "spyware" ,or if they do,Attempts at removing it fails. One machine had "winfixer32" .i could remove it ,quarantine it and do reboots as part of these processes;and it would still come back.Sometimes it would return the moment it was "removed".Another piece of "spyware" changes your XP log on screen.[which it was doing to a customers machine]While looking for an answer on the "net" i found some site that explained it was a Spyware problem;and lo and behold;next thing i knew,it was attacking this machine. That one attacks your "networking protocols" such as "client services for netware"
After wasting an hour or two on my machine and a customers ;the quickest solution was a thorough reformat and reload of windows and programs.I could have spent hours and hours loading and unloading "Anti spyware-antivirus programs" or searching through "registry entries" as some advice recommended;but this approach tends to leave you with a "shaky" machine.
Something i couldn,t identify kept attacking my Firewall ,too.Hence the complete reload. This machine is going much better now ,after the reload. And appears to be Malware free.
