just make sure you have the latest bios, slam dunk.
i have a 4000+ 754 that runs beautifully in my lappy, but tested throughly on a DFI Lanparty 754 desktop board prior to install in the lappy.
BTW, the DFI Lanparty 250 and the 754 A64, still competitive with todays more modern single core rigs, too bad they didn't make a dual core 754, shame really.
