Likely result is that it will stall at POST without ever displaying anything on the screen.
If you need a P4 1.8A/400MHz on the cheap, I do have one that I may as well loose. (Works fine, but was replaced by the fastest 533MHz part that the motherboard would support via a deal made with a chap over at the TechReport.) Doesn't have a cooler unless you want to try and modify an AMD Skt retail cooler to suit....
