I,m presuming you,ve checked all your settings on the laptop;have you tried it on another one of the looms?You don,t have two addresses the same? Lan settings under Internet option , in control panel can stop you connecting ;if nothing is set;eother to Auto;or manually set. Firewalls can stop you too;if you don,t tell it what to allow,sometimes.
My own setup ,sometimes connects but i cant see anything from either end. My trick is ,Fire up a Quake2 server and join the game from the other computer[s]Usually by searching for the server address. Once they link ,everythings fine and i turn the game off again.
