I can see Intels reasoning...Less is more and one word STABILITY....
USB hi and Low out performs Serial and PS/2 plus SATA can do it all over PATA...My only objective thought is why remove Parallel...who knows with Firewire 400/800 subject to improvement who knows maybe Printers and Scanners may surprize us Hardware junkies with something new in the speed zone
