Sorry, i didn't express myself clearly,
those you mentioned are keyboards and other hardware/external devices, i ment software synthesizers for like Cakewalk, with instrument banks and stuff.
Maybe the Virtual Sound Canvas is more familiar to you as an example (just as an example 'cause it's awful)
