well, I have not tried it on secondary slacve yet. Tried getting hold of the sender. It is a redone HD of a main manufactor. 30 GB, 7200, ATA100, 2 mb buf. If I set up the BIOS instead of AUTO, what kind of settings can I try? Not marked on the HD. I"lll try other slave first. too bad I cant change the origal HD off of slave setting. life. thanks
