It is I guess interesting that even if you install W2K on a large disk, the software and/or service packs still doesn't add this entry.

Also interesting, I have found not having this registry entry doesn't affect large external drives - so the problem seems to be confined to internal installed drives only.

Can anyone confirm the above?
