Can someone help me with which way this is connected to the laptop IDE adapter?
Here's a photo of the adapter end and Latpop HD IDE end next to each other.
the laptop IDE has the usual missing pin in the centre - however the IDE connector doesnt - so I presume (apart from some protection) I may be able to fully power the wrong way round and destroy the IDE track....? yes....
