As LUDI says;I,ve done so ,too:You have to diassemble them fairly thoroughly to get at the battery[which is usually soldered to the Mother Board]Laptops can be a bugger to get apart;But they do come apart!"Just don,t force anything"you shouldn,t need to.Screen Mountings to the main case are often your main hurdle.
