There seems to be hundreds of these programs & the descriptions are very much lacking real info. I wanted a simple & small program I spent an hour or more digging around. The first one I tried had no builtin sound generator & no saving to HD so as soon as the power failed or you shut down the computer all the settings were lost. The second program after alot of reading thru descriptions is a program you buy with a free demo that allows 2 weekly settings which is perfect (alarm & snooze) & the timer allows sound to run up to 59 minutes, the only pain is on bootup you have to click the try button. I now have to wait till next week to test really this alarm out. This will work out till the fall when my stepson have more classes.
