As far as I know, you'll have to delete the NTFS partition, then install 98 on C:, then install XP on D:. XP sets up a simple DUal-Boot menu.

I have had this setup on two machines. Works fine, but it is twice the work.

Twice the upgrades, updates, installs. Programs on one won't run on the others, and 98 won't see XP (if installed NTFS).
