I use AnyDVD to remove protection and jump to the 'Play' menu, DVD Shrink to make it fit on standard DVD-R, CopyToDVD to burn.

Sounds like a lot of work - but almost all is automated.

AND - MOST IMPORTANT - Quality disks and BURN SLOW.

Only bad part about AnyDVD is LOT of updates and have to reboot after update.
